founded by Andre Asher. Albert Asher is the father of Andre and
Armand. Armand Asher, President of the Cultured Pearl Association of
America 2003-2005 has formed Armand Asher Pearl Company. Both firms
are the evolutionary progression of A. Asher Pearl Company LLC. a well known
purveyor of extraordinary pearls for the past 52 years. In 2009,
Andre founded A. Asher Pearl Company, LLC. located at 580 Fifth
Avenue, Suite 2900. The staff at A. Asher Pearl Company has over 25
years working in the jewelry trade and especially with pearls of
many origins. We are here to provide you with excellent service
above and beyond other dealers in the trade.
Andre, born in Cairo Egypt has spent his childhood years playing
with pearls. Since a teenager, Andre has been sorting and learning
the colors and qualities of Pearls at the family pearl business,

father Albert, Andre searches for unique pearls of different origins
while keeping all in the same high quality as he is accustomed to.

Akoya Pearls from 3 - 10 millimeters that are produced mainly in the
salt waters of Japan.
South Sea Pearls in White, Golden and Black grown in the South
Pacific. The sizes run from 10 - 20 millimeter and above from round
to baroque shapes..
Tahitian Pearls from silver grey to green black and range in size
from 8 - 16 millimeter.
The Tahitian Pearls are obtained through representatives from the
Tahitian Pearl Farm.
Andre Asher participated in the discussion of the grading of
Tahitian Pearls with the producers to clarify the system of grading.
Andre has been exposed to the fascinating world of freshwater of the

highest volume buyers bought at pearl auctions in Australia, Hong
Kong and Japan.
We were the only American buyers at the first Tahitian Pearl auction
in Tahiti as mentioned in the press. With the new Freshwater
productions, we were the first to select the highest quality of
Freshwater Pearls. Our first large necklace of FWP was sold to
Cartier for $25,000.
