Enter the International Pearl Design Competition (IPDC) sponsored by the Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA) and earn recognition in up to 45 countries and in as many as 1,000 publications around the world!
U.S. participants have the opportunity to have their work put up for sale in an important jewelry store!

All cultured pearl varieties, including akoya, Sea of Cortez, South Sea, Tahitian, and freshwater pearls of any shape and size are eligible for submission. Additionally, the Spotlight Award on one variety of pearl--baroque-shape pearls of any type, saltwater or freshwater, for this year--encourages artists to wholly understand and embrace one type of pearl through a piece where 75 percent of it features that one variety.
Entries are considered eligible for any of the awards being given. Let the piece you create speak for itself.
You may enter up to five different designs. Each entry can be submitted with up to five different images. Please remember that U.S. participants have a two-part entry process, which can be viewed here.

In 2022, the first entry is $175.00 while each additional entry is $150.00. Students may also enter for $75 for the first entry and $50 for each additional entry. Students may email JHeebner@cpaa.org for a coupon code, and be sure to read instructions for entries here.
