CPAA Announces U.S. Finalists in 11th Annual International Pearl Design Competition
New York City. Jan. 21, 2021. The Cultured Pearl Association of America (CPAA) announces the finalists in the U.S. division of the 11th Annual International Pearl Design Competition (IPDC). Sixty-six submissions were narrowed down to 20 finalists after judges viewed images of all entries. The judges are Jean Francois Bibet, workshop and production director at Cartier, and Patricia Faber, co-owner of Aaron Faber Gallery in Manhattan (whose store will show and offer for sale the winning entries and the finalists of Faber’s choice).
A day of semi-live judging will take place in a private location in early February. CPAA will show live jewels to judges over Zoom. Judging for the 2020 competition was delayed this year because of the pandemic.
On Tuesday, Feb. 9, both U.S. and International winners will be announced.
Finalists in the U.S. division are as follows.
